DW Photographers was founded in 1988 by Daniela Giller in Munich with the goal to represent international photographers and introduce them to commercial clients, including advertising agencies and publishing editors.
Starting off with photographers such as Nadir, Aldo Fallai and Anne Menke, the company was soon able to expand its portofolio of talents, while an ever-increasing number of trusting, prominent clientel gave her an even wider recognition.
After a decade of joyous and tough work, DW has achieved great recognition with clients and photographers all over the world. In 1998, Daniela Giller founded the additional company “Youngstars”, in order to support and promote young, fresh photographers with exceptional talent the possibility to establish themselves in the field of professionals.
Realizing that the professional outcome of most projects is often more easily handled by one supervisor, the idea of “connects & cares” became more and more important within the agency. DW also founded a casting department, an editorial department and a graphic department with syndication, thus expanding even further: It simply made sense to offer all the experience and existing close associations to all model-agencies and publishing-companies for those who want less hassle but full quality, service and care - which at the same time guarantees full-on trendiness, never missing the signs of the times. |
